[This thread is temporary until I add the tab code tutorial info to the BBCode Help page.]

Tabs are really useful if you prefer a writing style that uses single or no spaces between paragraphs and an indented starting line of each paragraph. Some creative writers and most non-fiction writers use this format style.

All you need to do for this is add the tab code before and after the desired line or paragraph. You can shell multiple tab brackets for a larger tab, as the tab is a set size.

    Single Tab Code:
    Code:
[tab]The girl looked on, her heart full of molten desire.[/tab]
    Triple Tab Code:
    Code:
[tab][tab][tab]The girl looked on, her heart full of molten desire.[/tab][/tab][/tab]

The tabs do not auto adjust in size because they are based off of a blank image that is roughly the width of 4-5 characters of the "normal" text size for the site. As the site ignores blank spaces and white space characters, this was the best and simplest way to achieve a tab space. Simply add as may or few of these tabs as you need to fit with your personal preference. :meowlove:

You can also combine indents with tabs. Indents can move an entire body of text left or right. You can use this to separate special information, like a block quote. Examples are included below.

    (No Indent)
Blank spaceTest test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test.

    (Single Indent)
Blank spaceTest test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test.
    (Double Indent)
Blank spaceTest test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test. Test test testy test testy testy testy test.
