...literally. This was one of those idea-stuck-in-the-head things... had to be done, or else. It also involved several interesting experiments at once with textures, transparency and lighting effects. The ice texture was created via combining bits of several photographic resources and wielding the paintbrush and eraser tools in GIMP 2.8; texture was then applied to a primitive in order to create ice-covered glass. The only postwork is the addition of the text - everything else was executed via the render. I was using Poser Pro 2014 when this was done, so it's a FireFly (OpenGL) render, not physical-based.
